OUR STORY

Honey & Houston is an eclectic folk-rock quartet from northern Kentucky.  Defined by the sweet, gypsy harmonies of songwriters Heather Turner and Lauren Houston and anchored by drummer Daniel Peterson and multi-instrumentalist Mark Cretcher, the band quickly became a fixture on the Cincinnati/NKY scene.

They have opened for many national acts including Tyler Childers, Tim O'Brien, Eilen Jewell, David Bromberg, Junior Brown, Kelsey Waldon, Smooth Hound Smith, and Scott Miller / Rayna Gellert.  In 2014 they were nominated for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award for their debut album Barcelona.

Turner and Houston are like sisters from different mothers, who write and sing songs that jump from sweet country ballad to roadhouse rock before you can finish your drink.  The group manages to blend all of their diverse influences into an unpretentious blend that's all their own.

They recently released their long-awaited second record "A Ticket Somewhere".
